can't you fake it
for just one more show?
despite all my rage
i am still just a rat in a cage
I'm so much older than I can take "I used to write from 2002-2008. Now I'm contemplating whether to start rambling again..(2020)"

i feel like writing something a li'l unusual.
i saw the movie 'k-pax' a li'l bit back then and it kind of grabbed my attention,
especially when Prot a.k.a. kevin spacey mentioned that the theory of relativity
was misunderstood by us all.
when the quack said that according to Einstein's theory, no particle could
accelerate to the speed of light, otherwise its mass would become infinite.
prot then calmly explained that that theory only applies that travel below the
speed of light. it said nothing about particles already travelling at the speed of
light.
i'm no genius here, but i think that statement's got to be true somehow.
anybody care to give their two cents' worth of opinions?

bout yesterday i saw two things (on tv, 'f course) that made me kinda think 'bout the
mess that i'm in.
the first was 'bout aging indonesians, and apparently they are desperate for jobs.
they're too old for construction work and other type of jobs. they'v no cash to
support the family.
that got me thinkin'.
the 2nd was a documentary on a univ undergrad (about 50, i think). he majored in
chemical engineering and he left.probably feeling disenchanted.he's playing guitars
in subway and other places.what struck me were his words. he said'
"it's okay if you didn't make it.it's okay to not finish your course.it's okay to not have
degree or any great stuff.you still have you"
that's pretty deep stuff.

since i've started listening to music, and i didn't realize when i started doing so, i've
always paid no attention to the so-called "music genres". it made no difference to me
whether i'm listening to a "post-grunge-hardcore-orchestra-monkey-ass-jazz" or
"druids-dangdut", or other shit, as long as i like it, that's what mattered.
or so i think.
you know in awards and stuff, where they lump together nu-metal bands and rock
bands in the "rock" category, and the stupid "short-hair-bangers" actually win?
well, that pisses me off all the time.ALL THE TIME!
not all these "linkin park clones" are bad (by the way, linkin park sucks). i heard a
single from static-x, i don't know what's the title, and it kinda reminded me of some
the early Megadeth"s stuff. it's THAT good.
if there's one thing i realized from all these "clASSifications", it's that rock is really
dead. a few hours ago, i listened to soundgarden's "best of" compilation, and it is
really good (notice the present tense used). then, i watched MTV and saw
audioslave. i have to say, on the record, that buying the knock-off audioslave CD,
was the most wasteful way to spend RM5. i also saw Zack De La Rocha on the
Latin Awards, and he's lost the braids.
he looked like he was on Survivor.
yup. rock is dead. grunge's not too bad, but i think they're dead too. as dead as the
heavy/speed/thrash metal scene. i'm planning to buy early Megadeth albums and,
you know, be a fan. i'd like to know whether James made the mistake when he
kicked Dave out. he'd already made "st. anger", so, what the hell.
i've been blabbering about these "genres", it'd be nice to listen outside the circle of
my preference. a few weeks ago, i listened to this all-female trio from Indonesia.
i'm sure you've heard of 'em. they're called 'molluccas'. they were GREAT, man!
in fact, they were so great, i initially assumed that they were French.it was after
my kid sister told me about them, i actually believed they came from there.
do you the origin of the name 'molluccas'? they derived it frome the 'Maluku'
archipelago. man, a great band with a great and profound name! i'm contemplating
buying their CD.
or i could get a ASDL modem and start downloading. hmm....

this few weeks, i've been keeping my postings short and simple because my pc
broke down and i can't type anything except at the cafe.and it cost plenty to sit
for plenty hours.now, that i've got the machine back (or the machine got me), i'd
put things in typing.
this raya celebration was not merry for me.i'm sort of jaded. maybe it's because
during ramadan i did nothing.maybe it's the same as last year, except i was busy
working i didn't notice.maybe it's because my cat died.maybe baby.ha ha.
it's cool because raya is suppose to be a month, right? adat orang johor tu.sebulan
raya ha....i got three cards this year. a major improvement from last year. nothing
shocking.i'd say this raya was probably the most relaxed. as i am.
in fact, i was so busy relaxing, i almost missed people i knew whizzing past me.
one's taking up a quasi-teaching profession. another one's getting hitched
(engaged). another one's considering leaving a job at a consultancy to join direct
selling ( ! ).one took up a supposedly 'challenging' job in key ell after complaining
that the job in kedah's no fun, and after a few days, desperate to quit because
the new job's more disappointing than the old one.
he should've seen that one coming.
perhaps i'd better pick up my pace.
