it rained today at noon.

i got out, stood at the entrance of the lobby
and inhaled.

ahh. sweet, damp, moist air.

the palm trees are swaying to the left,
caressed by the mighty wind.

wind, being the wind that it is, blew me
away.

as the gust blew across my face, it carried
away some of the worries residing in my mind.

i'm quite cross that my plan to jog this
afternoon had been mercilessly obliterated.
but on a second thought, precipitation's
not so bad.

beautiful rain on a moody monday.

just the remedy for the heart.
